Universal Motorhome Trailer Hitches By Hidden Hitch

Installation Instructions:
Note: THIS IS A GENERAL APPLICATION PRODUCT AND IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER TO SELECT A STRUCTURALLY SAFE LOCATION FOR HITCH ATTACHMENT.

1. Slide left and right frame bracket onto hitch receiver assembly.
2. Position and clamp frame brackets to the bottom of frame so the receiver assembly with ball mount is centered on vehicle and there is adequate coupler clearance.
3. Using frame brackets as template, drill two (2) holes into vehicle frame rail with 1/2" drill bit.
4. Loosely fasten frame brackets to frame rail using carriage bolt and reinforcing plate. Bolts and plates may have to be fish wired or bumper loosened if no access holes are present for bolt / plate installation. Remove clamps.
5. Center receiver assembly on vehicle and clamp at both ends to prevent movement while drilling. Using the two holes per side (total of four) in the frame brackets as templates, drill 1/2" diameter holes into cross tube. Fasten frame bracket to hitch receiver assembly using hex bolt, flat washer and flanged lock nut. Remove clamps.
6. Cross tube must be flush or extend through frame bracket. If trimmed, coat bare metal with paint to prevent corrosion.
7. Tighten all bolts; refer to torque table on instruction sheet provide in hitch kit.
