#1) Place Tonneau Cover at the front of the truck bed with the front edge of the Tonneau Cover even with the front of the front bed cap. (Note: The red retaining straps will be facing upward) #2) Reach under the Tonneau Cover and rotate the front clamp from its storage position on the underside of the cover downward starting on the driver side of the truck. |
#3) With the clamp handle parallel to the bottom of the Tonneau Cover, slide the grooved section of the clamp under the edge of the metal inner lip the the truck bed. If the vehicle has plastic Bed Rail Caps-Make sure that the plastic cap does not extend lower than the metal of the bed rails-If it does extend beyond the metal rail trim the plastic cap so that it is above the bottom of the metal rail. #4) Pull handle down to secure the clamp. If the clamp is loose or too tight to pull down, adjust the clamp by rotating (clockwise to loosen and counter clockwise to tighten). It is important that the clamps be secure prior to operation. |
#5) Unfasten the red retaining straps (four snaps) and fold cover rearward until it covers the truck bed. #6) Lower tailgate. Repeat the steps above for the two rear clamps as you did with the front clamps |
#7) Fold the TorzaTop cover forward. Place the clamping handle in the storage position. Note: Failure to put handle in storage position may harm vinyl and will void warranty. #8) Unsnap the red retaining straps from the bow on each side of the truck. Snap to the factory installed snaps on the front rail of the Tonneau Cover making sure that all four snaps are secured. Drive with cover open. |
